A well known author once said:
“Writing a book is a horrible, exhausting struggle, like a long bout of some painful illness. One would never undertake such a thing if one were not driven on by some demon whom one can neither resist nor understand.” ~George Orwell
How hauntingly beautiful is it that something you love so much can be such an awful, grueling experience, while still being such an amazing undertaking? A quote like this, in a lot of ways is meant to weed out those who don’t have the drive to be a writer. However, when I read a quote like this, the only thing that comes to mind is that, I cannot wait until the day when I say something this intriguing and someone quotes me to aspiring writers.
